Holy Trinity, Gosport music events, 5 November
Last Sunday’s Tea-time concert certainly lived up to its name of ‘Fire, Water and Fantasy’ and was hugely appreciated by a full audience.
Hampshire Recorder Sinfonia, led by Helen Hooker, brought us a wonderful programme of music from across the centuries: 16th to 21st, and half of the globe: Boston to Italy. The sound of 33 mixed recorders was glorious and we enjoyed every moment, including Helen’s spontaneous lesson in all things recorder.
