A Chichester concert will honour the memory of Anva Luc, a blind piano tuner and repairer, who passed away at 60 in December 2021. Anva, who lost his sight in Vietnam at age eight, was remembered as a devoted father, skilled craftsman, and an inspiration to many. His wife Yuriko and children, all musicians, will hold the charity concert on October 25 at St George’s Whyke Church in support of Sanctuary in Chichester, a refugee charity. Proceeds will be shared between the charity and the church.
Popular Chichester piano tuner and repairer Anva Luc – father to a unique musical family – will be remembered at a special concert in the city on Friday 25 October.
Anva, who tragically lost his sight in his native Vietnam when he was only eight years old, died at the age of 60 in December 2021.
